Mr. Fowler attended the Port St. Lucie Fearless Caregiver Conference on
October 20th, 2010 at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center, as a member of the
Panel of Experts. The Panel answered questions from conference attendees
on various topics related to the unique challenges of caring for an ill, elderly or
disabled loved one. The Fearless Caregiver Conference was held to provide
practical information, advice and support for caregivers in our community.

Mr. Fowler gave an educational seminar for other attorneys on topics related to
Estate and Tax Planning; Wills and Trusts; Elder Law; and obtaining Medicaid
and Veterans benefits. The Lunch & Learn was held at the Abingdon at
Tradition, and tours of the the facility were also provided to attendees.
The presentationwas free to the attendees, and approved for 1.5 CLE credits
by the Florida Bar.

On October 7th, Mr. Fowler conducted a presentation for potential residents
of the Abingdon at Tradition. The presentation included information related
to advance and crisis long-term care planning, obtaining government benefits,
durable powers of attorney and health care surrogate documentation, estate
and tax planning, and matters related to wills, trusts, and probate.
Mr. Fowler gave a presentation on obtaining Aid & Attendance improved pension
benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs at the September 30, 2010
general meeting of the Treasure Coast Advocates for Seniors.
